Namaste Shenandoah is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization incorporated in Virginia in October 2007.

The purpose of Namaste Shenandoah is:

• CULTURAL: To establish and promote culture(s) originating from the Indian subcontinent (cultural)

• EDUCATIONAL: To organize literary and educational forums (educational)

• CHARITABLE: To organize charitable events (charitable)

 

This association was formed as a means for our members to congregate and to preserve the rich and vibrant traditions and from the Indian subcontinent.

We want our future generations to continue the bond with our forefathers who lived and prospered in the Indian subcontinent as sophisticated and well respected members of the community. We want our children to remember and learn our religion, culture and language and provide an anchor and a place for them with which they can identify.
